In many niches, PayPal is considered an absolute must-have, as it is still the standard way online for non-business people to give and receive money.
Customers don’t even need to pay by credit card for a PayPal account, so you can see that PayPal is great for any classifieds platform and you should really have it on yours!
It used to be somewhat geo-restricted, but PayPal is now available in 190 countries, so you should be able to get one if you don’t already have a PayPal account. Another nice thing is that there are no setup costs and you do not need a merchant account, while automated transactions require a PayPal business account (see How This Works below)
This extension combines PayPal with WPAdverts for you, using the same framework of PayPal (PayPal Payments Standard, or PPS). This implies that things are really confidential, since all transactions take place on the web of PayPal, not yours.
That’s a serious weight off your shoulders and on PayPal’s very large shoulders, and this is a big reason why consumers love and trust websites using this method!
Since the checkout is done on the PayPal page, you need to send Instant Payment Updates to your website (IPN). Setting up an IPN is an easy business.
